Tonke dragt about the secret garden: 'Delicious book - my favorite book. The secret garden has everything: it is mysterious, exciting and enchantingly beautiful! A book that every child must have read. "
The Secret Garden of Frances Hodgson Burnett first appeared in 1911. More than a hundred years later, the story about the stiff, selfish orphan girl Mary that knows how to bring a forbidden, neglected garden to blossom again - and with that - still enchanting for Young and old. Beautiful narrative in which the parallels between nature, friendship and imagination seem unobtrusive, but are magical. Now in a very luxurious edition.
