The European robin is better known in Great Britain as the robin or robin. The male and female are identical in plumage: an orange/red breast and head with gray stripes, a brown upperpart and a white belly. They mainly feed on insects and can often be found on the feeding shelf in the garden, where they mainly like to eat seeds and fat balls in the winter. Male robins are extremely territorial and are known to be very aggressive towards other males who enter their territory.
