Soft linoleum on a canvas base. Ideal as a printing plate after cutting out images and lines in the surface using a lino cutter. . Draw the desired image with a pencil on the surface and cut it out with a linome knife on the line or behind the line. Always make sure the direction you are cutting is away from you as the blades can be very sharp. Apply the lino ink evenly to the printing block with a lino roller, place a piece of paper over the printing block and roll over the back of the paper – unless you have an etching press that can produce an even sharper print.
