I'm not Pippi!' is the new picture book by Yvonne Jagtenberg, who won a Golden Pencil in 2020 for the picture book 'Hup Herman!'. And this picture book is also just as cheerful, stubborn and hilarious as we have come to expect from Yvonne Jagtenberg. Girl the Goat is proud of how unique and special she is. There is no one like her! But what should you do if, as a proud goat, you suddenly get freckles all over and a bunch of bright orange, stiff braids? And everyone starts calling you Pippi? Then you get angry and shout very loudly: 'I'm not Pippi!' But better yet: you write a letter to Pippi (whoever that is) to tell her that you are not her, but you are a cool girl who can write. And then you lift your father up and give your grandma a big kiss! A wonderfully quirky and dryly funny picture book from the creator of 'Hup Herman!' (awarded the Golden Pencil in 2020) and the sequel 'Cheer up, Herman!'.
