Esschert design nesting box blue tit

This traditional nest box with a rural appearance and bitumen roof offers the Blue Tit a good place to nest and to maintain or regain populations of this bird species in an area. In addition, this custom-made nest box also offers the Crested Tit, Glossy Head, Mathead and Coal Tit a good place to nest. In winter, the nest box often serves the birds well as shelter from the bad weather. The right place to hang the box is a quiet and somewhat sheltered place, not directly in the sun or on the rainy side, with a clear flight path for the bird. Autumn is the best time to clean the nest box. • keyhole opening • door on the side • 27 mm diameter flight opening • suitable for Blue Tit, Crested Tit, Glossy Head, Mathead, Coal Tit
