After installing the new brake pads, it is important to brake them in, this extends their lifespan. To properly brake the brake pads, hold the brake lever lightly while you drive. Make sure that the brake pads touch the brake disc. Drive about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a little harder at the end to reduce the speed to approximately 5 kilometers per hour.
