It uses advanced tabless cell technology, while conventional batteries feature multi-tab cells that use only two tabs as current paths. This creates a bottleneck that increases the resistance of the battery. Tabless cell technology removes this bottleneck. Instead of just two flow paths, it provides numerous parallel flow paths. The result: less resistance, less heat, impressive power and excellent energy density. With the new reinforced robust housing, the excellent thermal management of COOLPACK 2.0 and tabless cell technology, the EXBA18V-40 has a long service life and is therefore ideal for professionals who rely on robustness and performance. Simple and convenient: the GAL 12V/18V-80 Professional is a fast charger for all 12V and 18V batteries from Bosch Professional. Thanks to a charging current of 8 A, an 18V battery of 4.0 Ah can be fully charged in 38 minutes. This charger reduces downtime with the intelligent Active Air Cooling 3.0 by cooling the battery before, during and after charging. This compact charger is practical to use with the bay-in-bay solution. Equipment and application The EXBA18V-40 is equipped with a 5 LED indicator that indicates the charging status with remaining capacity and defect risk detection. The EXBA18V-40 and the GAL 12V/18V-80 charger are both compatible with the Bosch Professional 18V System and with AMPShare, the multi-brand battery alliance. In addition, the GAL 12V/18V-80 charger is also compatible with the Bosch Professional 12V System. Additional information The EXBA18V-40 weighs only 605 grams. The GAL 12V/18V-80 is easy to mount on the wall and has two LEDs to indicate the charging status.
