With millimeter wave radar, the L7 detects approaching vehicles up to 160 meters behind you and recognizes relative speeds from 6 to 160 km\/h. In combination with a compatible bike computer, you get both visual notifications (position and threat level) and an audible warning, so you don't have to look over your shoulder as often.    For visibility in traffic, the L7 is equipped with additional side LEDs for wide 270° visibility. When a vehicle approaches faster than 20 km\/h (relatively), the rear light flashes extra quickly to warn. In addition, the L7 has a brake light function: an accurate accelerometer recognizes deceleration and makes the light shine brighter for 2 seconds (not in flashing and breathing modes).    The L7 offers multiple light modes (steady, flashing, breathing and radar mode) and has a platoon mode that allows lights in a group to synchronize the same flashing frequency. Charging is done via USB-C and the automatic sleep\/wake function saves energy: it goes into sleep mode after 3 minutes of standstill and becomes active again when it moves.
